High-end fashion labels like Burberry scarf and Coach are branching to a new demographic: young urban blokes, says Bloomberg.
Three researchers in HSBC say young urban blokes (which they dub "YUMmies") tend to be the future of retail.
"The metro-sexual…is at this instant becoming a commercial reality, " gives advice HSBC.
While anyone who lived since 1980s may yawn at the thought of men buying luxury brands, usually the analysts say they're not just trying to find fast car any more. It's Prada wallets and driving moccasins at this instant, says Bloomberg.
Because these men are getting married to later, they have more disposable wages in their youth. The Internet has also features easier for those outside of traditional trend setting hubs like New York and M25 to buy into trends.
