There is no question that the Règles Film Festival is the most glamorous costs film festivals. Coming hot on the entire heels of The Metropolitan Museum to Art's Costume Institute Gala, many years stars Cannes is all about making result on the red carpet. And this current edition, the 68th Cannes Movement Festival, was no different. While most amongst us may not remember which films came into the competition, we will recall which costumes made it to the red carpet.
Which frequently means men end up taking a corroborating role. Because really, how many alternative ways can a man wear a attire or a tuxedo?
At the Mad Highest potential: Fury Road out-of-competition screening, Charlize Theron hit all the right type notes in her eye-catching bright-yellow strapless gown teamed with a serious pear-shaped diamond ring on her finger. This woman showed that off along with the lady a boyfriend (or is it fiancée? ) Sean Penn. In a buttoned-down black shirt, with a black attire and black shoes, Penn's insipide ensemble was the perfect example of simple tips to casual-smart on the red carpet. This no surprise that Colin Farrell use Dolce and Gabbana, as he can be the face of their fragrance and has up with the design house. The way your better half styled his suit at the photocall for his film, The Lobster, was a masterclass in style. His collection of a light-grey suit with a frosty white shirt, dark pocket princess and shoes ticked all the proper boxes for smart casual day-time dressing. Farrell may claim to just be someone who does not care about fashion. Sadly his was clearly a well-thought-out look. Perhaps his stylist or designers deserves the credit.
Mat McConaughey's Dolce and Gabbana slate-blue three-piece suit, worn with a half-open shirt and neck scarf, seemed to be to all about relaxed ease yet still flexible. It was a look that matched former rugged good looks with elan. Has long been slightly unkempt beard, though, mortgaged a slight feel of untidiness of this otherwise effortless and elegant take on sensible casual. The three-piece was also the entire actor's choice for his with the red carpet appearance for The Beach of Trees premiere. His collection of a shiny deep Bordeaux reddish jacket over a classic tuxedo seemed to be to surprising, striking and, for some incomprehensive reason, remains ignored in the make press. Bachchan made sure your better half stood out thanks to his gaudy choice of outfit. His blunder manufactured that DiCaprio walked away along with the fashion accolades that night.
The fact is where it Cannes is all about the frocks, the entire lipstick and the baubles. Which is why labels such as L'Oreal and Chopard an to play important roles at Règles.
That means men, unless they go too much, do not stand a chance. But then, your idea maybe better that the boys gamble the supporting role on the Règles red carpet. After all how can the exact stars shine without a little médiamat?
